Reflections of the A-Z Challenge

Blogging A-Z was insane, fun, and when I was done I felt like I had just climbed Mount Everest.  I enjoyed the frenzy of posting every day and racking my brain for something, anything to write about.   I loved discovering blogs that I never knew existed, finding gems that I vow to visit again, and reading how everyone else interpreted each letter.

Best of all I loved finding new friends across cyberspace.  I discovered writing each and every day is good for what ails me.  I loved the camaraderie I felt with all the other participants as we tackled each letter, egged each other on with daily encouragement, and then celebrated what felt like a major accomplishment when the Z post was published.

Would I do it again?  That would be a resounding “Hell Yes!!”  It was one of the coolest things I have ever done.  Thank you to all the great folks that organized this challenge and to all of you that stopped by here during the challenge and read my entries.  Thank you for reading, your encouragement, and your kind comments throughout!

  1. I am especially glad to have found your blog, being new to the 'trucker's wife' thing. I don't have any other friends or acquaintances whose significant others are truck drivers.

How's your son feeling now? Things back to normal yet?

    1. JoJo, we kind of know where each other are going through in that respect don't we? My son is back to his old self. We have warned him to be more cautious and to stay off that slide. I send him to school everyday with trepidation and give a sigh of relief when I get through a day without any calls from the nurse and he comes racing off the bus with all smiles. We are back to normal and my husband is back to work. Thank you for stopping by to read and for your comments and for asking about my son. ♥

  2. I am trying to work up the courage to commit to one of these 'blog every day' things - LOL! I found you through the Writers' Post on Facebook. I am going to put some of my writing on there and see what happens(!)

  6. Yes, Kathy, that was quite an accomplishment. I really enjoyed reading your unique posts and following several of the others. It was interesting to read the different takes on each letter. I didn't realize what was going on until the second week. At first I couldn't see a foodie like me joining the challenge, but --- I think it would have worked. I could have written a recipe or article highlighting an ingredient or cooking procedure for each letter. Maybe I'll do that sometime. Again, it was quite an interesting read and I congratulate all participants!
