Looks yummmy!!! I am going to have to try this one. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is my kind of side dish! I just love green and red peppers sauteed with onion! Thanks, Kathy!

ReplyDeleteMmmm.. I must try this recipe, but with fresh green beans. LOL... I can never leave a recipe alone. I just HAVE TO change it up a bit. I LOVE fresh veggies!
ReplyDeleteI am with Darlene, can't do canned green beans...but with fresh ones ... oh yeah! This looks really good.
ReplyDeleteDarlene, the original recipe actually calls for a pound or two of fresh green beans straight from the garden. I simply adjusted it to accommodate for the winter months. You could certainly use frozen too. :D Thanks for stopping in to check out my recipe!
ReplyDeleteJo, I can see you and Darlene's point. Maybe frozen when fresh from the garden isn't available? Thanks for stopping by to check out my recipe and comment!
ReplyDeleteThis certainly looks good, Kathy. Sautéing onions, peppers and garlic is my favorite way to start any dish. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteBetty, Mine too. Along with mushrooms they are some of my favorite additions to doctor something up. Thanks for stopping by to read and comment!
ReplyDeleteI copied this recipe, because I love green beens. I think that I will use fresh garlic, and fortunately I can get a whole piece of parmigiano at the grocery store to grate fresh.
ReplyDeleteWeissdorn, sounds like a plan! My mouth is watering! Thanks for stopping in!
