Ellie blinked, as sudden realization dawned like the sun’s
reappearance following a violent storm. Acceptance quickly followed with an
onslaught of thoughts.
Late night
feedings, diaper duty, first steps, skinned knees, birthday parties, school graduation,
worrying, a lifetime of joy: simply priceless.
Well glad Ellie's happy about that because a positive result would have been my worst nightmare. lol Although with Russell I might've had one if we'd gotten together earlier, but the reality of it probably would've done me in.
JoJo, with your comment I realize that it probably wouldn't be completely happy news for everyone. For me, it always was because I wanted my babies. The only misgivings I had were for the pregnancy itself because I always had a hard time. Thank you for stopping by and for your sweet comments! ♥
When I saw that pic, my heart stopped. The opposite emotion to what was depicted here. My daughter sent that same pic to me months ago but last month lost the baby. :(
Pat, there really is. The joy, but also the worry...am I ready for this? Can I handle it? There can be a trapped feeling. So many emotions. I think if I found out I was pregnant today at the age of 46 I would be terrified. Happy, but definitely terrified especially since doctors told me I would never survive another pregnancy. Thank you so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments! ♥
Crystal, at this point...do you have a choice? Little late for that. Just laugh and enjoy your newest blessing. Thank you so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments! ♥
Jen, I am so pleased you liked it! I was always happy and excited by the news. Every now and then I wish I could have another, but I can't. I am blessed to have one of each...a boy and a girl. They are truly amazing. Thank you for stopping by and for your sweet comments! ♥
Stacie, I can't imagine dealing with it if it wasn't wanted. I can't. I always wanted my babies. Thank you for stopping by and for your sweet comments! ♥
There are so many thoughts that we have because it's such a huge life-changing test. I'm glad she's happy about it... I thought it could go either way after reading the first paragraph :)
pixie, I remember getting this result three times in my life and feeling the same way. Although two of those times always were laced with fear since my first baby died. But I am very blessed to have two precious kids that I love more than life itself. Babies are blessings! Thank you so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments! ♥
