Let's Go Again!

Unprepared for the explosion of force that propelled me 420 feet skyward at a dizzying 120 miles per hour,

I white knuckled the restraints screaming.

Plummeting back to earth seemed terrifyingly faster.

 I saw God.

Then,

I shit myself...

like a boss.

  2. HA! That's why I won't go on rollercoasters! Although I'd hope that I wouldn't poop myself.

    1. Pat, not sure anyone would know to plan for such an event! Lol! I was thinking figuratively, instead of literally. Literally would demand a quick exit to get new undies and regain some composure. Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comments! ♥

  8. I have wondered how well I could handle a roller coaster. Fear certainly grips you harder as you get a few years on you. A good laugh indeed.

  10. Very funny Kathy. It has been years since I've been on a roller coaster, but I remember what my hair looked like after the ride.

    1. Shailaja, I know it would be me! I hate them too and always safely watching my daredevil family safely from the ground. No scary rides for me! Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comments! ♥

  15. "I saw God". Heh. I liked that. It's been a while since I've ridden a rollercoaster, but I know the come-to-Jesus terror in your story, for sure. And I wouldn't dare go on an upside-down one. I assume your character isn't on one either; otherwise, with the whole pooping thing...that might be an issue.

  17. This made me laugh! Me and rollercoasters parted ways years ago :) (This made me think of something that happened several years ago with my dad. He had gone on a rollercoaster with one of my brother's kids and got off of it turning all kinds of green. He told my mom, "I didn't think it was going to go backwards too." She looked at him and said, "And why do you think they called it the "Boomerang." We've teased him about that since :)

    1. jannatwrites, I have never had any form of relationship with roller coasters. I absolutely refuse to ride them. LOL So this came from what I imagine it would be like for me. That is funny about your brother. LOL Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comments. I am so pleased you liked it! ♥
