It is time for Tuesday Tunes hosted by Holli of "Holli's Hoots and Hollers" and Lauren of "Outside the Frame"!
Time flies when you are having fun and it is hard for me to believe it is Tuesday night already. My husband came home for a long weekend, and it is as if we all need to recover. Not even 8:00 at night and both of my kids are sound asleep on the floor with blankets and pillows.
I have to admit, I am tired too and it would be so easy to grab a blanket and pillow and crash beside them! Tonight I am showcasing a song I first heard at my daughter’s dance recital a couple of years ago. At the time, I loved the eerie, dreamlike quality of the song. I loved the hard pounding rhythm. It was short, sweet, and as mesmerizing as the dancers I seen perform their moves to it. I was driven to find the song on You Tube, and then I downloaded it onto my phone.
Lately I haven’t slept well. My nights have been interrupted with dreams so Prelude 12/ 21 by the American alternative rock band AFI seems to be as good as song as any to share today. Enjoy! I raise my glass to my hosts, until another Tuesday rolls around…rock on!
