Heat Your House for Less with a Harman Pellet Stove

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Harman Stoves for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Pellet Stoves are Awesome
With the temperatures and wind chill factor below zero and the snow falling outside, all a body wants to do is stay in the house where it is warm.  Unfortunately that precious heat comes at a price and each month of winter the bill soars to gargantuan proportions as the temperatures outside plummet.  There is a way to heat your house that is not only more cost efficient but is also eco friendly.

Harman Pellet Stoves are the answer to all your heating needs!  In 1979 Dane Harman designed and built the very first Harman stove in an effort to reduce his family’s heating bills.  Three decades later  Harman now manufacture 36 different models of pellet stoves, inserts, and home heating units all designed to heat your house more efficiently saving you big bucks.  Installing and using a pellet stove to heat your house has been proven to cost 44% less than using oil, 47% less than using electric, and 53% less than heating with propane.  That is quite a savings!  Because biomass fuels are composed of renewable, carbon-neutral products, they are an extremely eco-friendly option for everyone who wants a cleaner environment.

There is even more great news for those wishing to switch over to this popular heating alternative.   The federal tax credit on 75% efficient biomass heating appliances which expired December 31, 2011 was reinstated January 2, 2013.  The bill includes a “tax extender” for the Internal Revenue Service Section 25C which provides a 10% tax credit of up to $300.00 for appliances purchased up until December 31, 2013.  With the added bonus of a tax credit, there is no better time to switch over!

Whether you choose from the many different styles and sizes of freestanding stoves or a quality insert that can be installed into your fireplace, the Harman Pellet Stoves will add a traditional charming ambience while keeping your home cozy and warm.  This popular heating alternative is an awesome way to preserve our earth and help reduce your personal carbon footprint.

  3. Too bad I live in a rental. Do these need chimneys to disperse the smoke? We don't have one of those in this house either.
