Unconditionally Yours

Following birth, your cries silence at the mere sound of my voice. Instant recognition astounds me.   Bright animated eyes of wonder captivate; you reach for me.   My utter enchantment unleashes joyful tears. Overwhelmed by unbridled happiness, love, you possess my heart... absolutely.

  5. Perfectly expressed Kathy! Reminds me when my daughter was born. My wife had the baby in the room with her, I stepped out for a bit. When I returned I discovered my Dad had stopped in for a visit. As I walked up to the door I could hear my daughter fussing and both of them trying to calm her. I came in and said "Who is making all this noise in here?" She immediately quieted and twisted about as much as she could trying to find me.
My wife said "Well there's no doubt she's gonna be a Daddy's girl....I'm screwed!!!" Lol

  13. That was beautifully out and so so true. It really is a wonderful feeling when your baby quietens down simply be listening to your voice. Never have I felt such a sense of importance. No wonder children become the center of our existence.
