We only had one hour for lunch. Still my friend John insisted we visit a new art gallery he had heard of. Racing down the street, he tried each door as he came to it. Panicked I noticed no sign and tried reason.
Refusing to listen he discovered one door unlocked and announced “This is it!” I chased him up the stairs begging reason. There was no sign! Out of breath, we burst into a cozy living room inhabited with a startled man dressed only in his boxer shorts. My face heated up as I turned to escape. Wrong door!
I saw this photo while visiting "Everyday Gyaan". When I first wrote this piece I thought it was for a 100 word challenge that is normally hosted on this site. Then I realized that this photo was for another writing prompt my friend Corinne participated in that has past. She found the photo here. Whoops!! Anyways...since it is already written I thought I would go ahead and share it with all of you. It is a true story and really happened to me when I was working. Hope you enjoy it and I hope I captured my embarrassment well in the telling. Thank you Corinne for the inspiration.
