Cake

Ingredients assembled, pan perfectly greased.  Carefully measuring, mixing, and preheating for the suggested temperature.  Baking, the aroma is heavenly!  Timer dings: carefully, I retrieve my culinary masterpiece from the oven. Pandemonium, chaotic as the kids pursue dogs…colliding, splat…oh shit!

    1. kymm, I am never far away from the stove or oven. People keep thinking they need to eat. It is annoying. So I have to keep cooking and washing dishes. The story of my life! Thanks so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments! ♥

    1. Pat, and the dogs did. One thing about it, I never have to clean up food that drops on the floor. The dogs scarf it down quick. LOL Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comments! ♥

  9. I had to laugh, Kathy! When I was young and our family was visiting with my grandparents who had no dog, my Nana unwittingly left a cake to cool on the kitchen table, just within reach of our dog's mouth. She was beside herself wondering which grandchild munched on the cake before it was frosted! Kids and dogs - what more can one say?
