A Little Confusion

“I’m telling you Jon, if you want the lovely Clarice to notice you, you have to get in touch with your feminine side.”  Minutes later, he emerged wearing heels, makeup, and a dress. “That wasn’t what I meant!”

For the Trifextra challenge this week, I am to write 33 words in addition to and preceding the following:

That wasn't what I meant.

So, to clarify, you write 33 words and then you tag on the five that we've given you.  Our five come after your 33 for a grand total of 38.

Working Towards the Dream

Sitting behind the glass, apart from the hustle and bustle, deeply engrossed in the intricacies of anatomy, she prepares for her future.  The world passes by oblivious to her dream.

This post was written for the Trifextra challenge where we are asked for 33 of our own words inspired by the above picture. We are required to give proper attribution to the photographer by providing a link to the photo, not just to Trifecta.

You and Me

The first time I saw you, I knew you were the one for me.

Fate had stepped in and brought you to me.

We fell in love.

My best friend, we vowed to be one for all time.

This was written for the Trifextra writing prompt #100.   They challenged me to write a 33-word response to the following snippet:
The first time I saw. . .
Here's the catch: all of the 33 words must be one syllable each.
To clarify, we were given 5 words and asked to add another 33, for a grand total of 38.

Full Moon

It is time: last game of senior year.  They dropped their drawers and mooned the crowd.    Choking on their mirth, they ran, pulling up their pants, as the crowd exploded in laughter.  Classic!

This was written for this week’s Trifextra prompt. Charles Dickens, in A Christmas Carol, wrote “There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.” You have exactly 33 words to make us laugh out loud and spread some festive cheer.
