  1. They are considered weeds so much that I never stopped to appreciate their beauty!

    1. JoJo, I feel the same. They make me sneeze. Since I got this camera at Christmas everything is fair game for a chance to get a good shot...even weeds! LOL Thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments!

  2. Dandelion = pretty effective fibbing. (Well, perhaps not.)

Delightful picture of a flower which many people consider non-delightful.

    Blessings and Bear hugs!

  3. Dandelions are pretty to look at... For a split second and then I remember that they're trying to choke out my grass and I must destroy them! ;)

  4. Lovely. It's all a matter of perspective...like the saying about becoming frustrated that roses have thorns or thankful that thorns have roses. It's all how you look at it.

    1. Kelly, exactly. It is still a vibrant flower even if it is a weed. Thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments!

    1. Dana, I always gave my mom a ton of dandelions when I was a kid and my kids give me a lot of them too. I just take my benedryl, grin, bear it, and say how lovely they are!! Thank you so much for stopping by and for your kind comments! ♥

  8. Love your picture of the dandelion compared to mine of them ripped up! So much prettier! When I see the American Gothic icon on your Wordless posts, i wonder if I forgot to tell you a tidbit. A woman moved back to IA and into the American Gothic House, and she bakes pies and sells them on the front lawn! (I read her book and it was so inspiring...It is called "making piece" by Beth Howard.

    1. Winnie, how fascinating! I have been having fun using the camera I got for Christmas and this picture is just one example. You can tell I don't get out much when all I can find to photograph is a dandelion in my front yard! LOL Thank you for stopping by and for your sweet comments! ♥
