Time for an Upgrade

Contribution by Saul Martin

Satisfied with the service we’ve had for years and years, I never thought much about upgrading our internet. I guess I never realized what improvements had been made in the speeds recently.

Last weekend I was at my brother’s house for the weekend visiting and needed to catch up on some work. I was amazed by how much faster his internet worked than mine at home. After talking to him about his t1.xo, I’m going to do some research into upgrading my service. I’m not sure if it’s even available where I live but if it is, sign me up!

Like I said, I never really thought much of the speed or lack of it we had. I always thought the kids were being impatient when they complained. Now I find myself with the same impatience while waiting! Not for long, though. Once I find out that it’s available I’m signing up and we’ll be on to bigger, better and faster things!

    1. JoJo, I have Comcast too and I am pretty pleased with it as well. Recently I went in and did away with my home phone, cut out a lot of television channels we didn't ever watch, and boosted the speed up. I managed to get the bill under $100.00 which made me happy. 3. Funny how spoiled we get. I remember getting excited about 56K speed, and now I'd want to get out and push!.
