This is a hard question for me to answer but after much consideration I would have to say it goes in phases. I can be energetic early in the morning and be equally energetic late at night. It is early afternoon when I feel the most sluggish. Sometimes I take a power nap in the middle of the day to get my second wind and then I can rock right along into the night.
As far as productivity goes, my best time to get things done is after the sun goes down. What can I say? I am more night owl than early bird until next time when I give you another glimpse into the life of a trucker’s wife.
I'm not sure. As a kid I would have said I was a night owl. Now I'm not sure.

Joyce, I know what you mean!! I am definitely a night owl more every day. I simply do not do mornings. Thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments~!♥
DeleteFirst off, oh my word! Kenny! I melt when I see him.. I get my energy in the morning (must be the waking up at 4:20 am each day for work) so by nighttime I am spent. Weekends are different. I sleep late and stay up late. Thanks for the Kenny treat!
ReplyDeleteWinnie, if I was working I would be raring to go in the morning. Since I am not it is hard to get in the swing of things. Thank you for stopping by to read and for your kind comments! ♥
DeleteI had a similar response - it depends! I struggle between my instinct to stay up late to be productive and maintaining a consistent sleep schedule.
ReplyDeleteSue, that is half my problem. I don't have a consistent sleep schedule. That will soon change with the kids marching back to school today. Thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments! ♥
DeleteI'm a night owl too Kathy though I am trying to change that and be an early bird. Nicely written for a difficult prompt.
ReplyDeleteSuzy, thank you for stopping by to read and for your kind words! ♥
DeleteWhen I was working, I preferred to get in at 7 and leave by 4 b/c I got my best work done b/t 7-11.
ReplyDeleteJoJo, I was the same way when I was working. The sooner I could get in there and get it over with...the better! Thank you for stopping by to read and for your kind comments! ♥
DeleteYou know I'm a night owl! The morning thing is not for me. I must say this is the most enjoyable thing about retirement. Nicely done!
DeleteJo, I think it is one of the things I like best about being a stay at home mom. I can pretty much sleep when I want. Thank you for stopping by to read and for your kind comments! ♥
DeleteThis one is kind of hard for me. I can get up and get something done pretty well first thing in the morning. But I really much prefer the night. Night for me always means quiet so that I can think and truly allow my creativity to flow.
ReplyDeletegenhorrall, I love the electricity of the night. For me everything comes alive at night time. Thank you for stopping by to read and for your kind comments! ♥
DeleteI love that song and started singing it in my head when i first read your title. I wish i could take naps but i never could master the nap and not feeling more tired than when i started.
ReplyDeleteHolli, I can nap in a dark room or if I am completely exhausted. If the sun is shining... I am wide awake no matter what. Thank you for stopping by to read and for your kind comments! ♥
DeleteGreat song Kathy! Reading you is pure energy itself :)
ReplyDeleteAnne, what a nice thing to say! Thank you for stopping by to read and for your sweet comments that have brightened my day! ♥
DeleteDefinitely a morning person, myself. But I married a night owl. So we are at an impasse!
ReplyDeleteKate Nested, that keeps things interesting at your house I bet. Thank you for stopping by to read and for your kind comments! ♥
DeleteI'm good at any time of day as long as there's plenty of coffee on hand! Well, maybe not any time; after 7am and before 11pm. I don't know if that makes me a night owl or an early bird.
ReplyDeleteColyn, not sure how that would be. To know for sure you would have to take the coffee out of the occasion. LOL Thank you for stopping by to read and for your kind comments! ♥
DeleteMe too, agree with Colyn. I'm good as long as some coffee is nearby! Thanks for sharing, Kathy!
ReplyDeleteMichelle, I have never developed a taste for coffee. I must be the only person over 40 who hasn't. LOL Thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments! ♥
