My Sanctuary

This piece of 55 fiction was inspired by the photo taken by Vidya Sury and written for Write Tribe's  55 on Friday writing prompt.

There is a place filled with colorful books which offer thrilling adventures within their covers.  I am content to explore and be enthralled.  While there, I forget those who taunt me.  I forget how alone I feel.  In that wondrous place I escape and discover characters that welcome, love, and accept me every single time.

    1. anitaexplorer, I can waste a whole day and night inside a book. The upside is then I am usually ready to move on to another story. The downside is that once I captivated I rarely get much else done. Thank you for stopping by and for your kind words! ♥

    1. Richa, as much as I love books I am not sure I would want to drop dead in a library but certainly would be surrounded by the books and the last book I had been reading before I breathed my last. Thank you for stopping in and for your kind comments! ♥
