Wordless Wednesday: Zentangles
Recently I have discovered the joy of drawing zentangles and in the process reawakened the artist that I have kept hidden for years. It seems only fitting to share one of my first zentangles with all of you. A special thank you to Laurel at Alphabet Salad for inspiring me to dust off my artistic skills and rediscover why I used to be so passionate about my art and how much I truly enjoyed it. I just couldn't resist giving this art form a whirl. It called me like no other has in years and I am glad I answered the call. Needless to say, there will be more drawings where this one came from!

What an absolutely gorgeous drawing, Kathy! So glad I nudged you into discovering Zentangle... it's my favourite pastime yet, I think. Keep up the beautiful work!

ReplyDeleteOrnery's Wife, I am still learning and doing plenty of research online. I have found lots of zentangle patterns online that I have saved to my hard drive to inspire me and incorporate into my own designs. It takes practice but the end result is really worth the effort. DeleteThat came out great! I've been following some Zentangle boards on Pinterest. I am not sure I'd want to draw one but I'd sure love to colour them. I just have so many colouring books to do that I don't dare start printing Zentangle designs! lol
