Thanks to required schooling, anyone can sit down and write a story. What makes an author extraordinary is their ability to draw a reader in, pluck at their heart strings, and engross them in such a way that they literally become an active spectator of the story cheering the characters on.
Upon careful reflection, I realize my favorite authors, JK Rowling and JRR Tolkien, were able to create a whole new world that is not only believable but in the minds of their reader’s realistic. I would love to ask them how the magical worlds they created came to be.

DeleteTo draw the reader in....yes that is certainly a talent some authors have and many others don't. Going by some of the stories I have read here, I would say you have that too :)
ReplyDeleteBeloo, that is so kind of you to say! Thank you so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments! ♥

DeleteI think inspiration comes from out of nowhere. I know I have a hard time answering the question, "Where do you get your ideas?" Didn't J.K. Rowling get the idea for Harry Potter while riding the train in London?
ReplyDeleteStephanie, I agree on the most part. Still they each created a whole magical world and that was pretty amazing. I wondered how the ideas were born. Thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments!
