Interview with an Author

100 Words on Saturday - Write Tribe

Thanks to required schooling, anyone can sit down and write a story.  What makes an author extraordinary is their ability to draw a reader in, pluck at their heart strings, and engross them in such a way that they literally become an active spectator of the story cheering the characters on.

Upon careful reflection, I realize my favorite authors, JK Rowling  and JRR Tolkien,  were able to create a whole new world that is not only believable but in the minds of their reader’s realistic.   I would love to ask them how the magical worlds they created came to be.

  9. I think inspiration comes from out of nowhere. I know I have a hard time answering the question, "Where do you get your ideas?" Didn't J.K. Rowling get the idea for Harry Potter while riding the train in London?
