    1. JoJo, I agree. It is too hot to be outside or even alive. Staying in, guzzling water, and keeping cool. I haven't been too enthused about cooking in this heat but have done it anyways. Thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments! ♥

  11. Oh boy do those brats look yummy! Do you poach them in beer and onions first? Now I want one! BBQ,corn, watermelon are my favorite things about summer. I just hate the heat, so I wish it to go go by too fast for my hubby. I am a pumpkin weather gal!

    1. Richa, I am not surprised. As the month winds down I am finding it harder to find inspiration and motivation to write...hence the food and picture post. Maybe I am not alone. Today I must write I tell myself each day, and each day I try to come up with something. Some days I get nada so I go with pictures. Thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments! ♥

    1. Me, I love to grill. Used to be I would always wait until my husband was home to enjoy meat from the grill. Then one day I discovered I could grill meat myself...I didn't have to wait for him. How liberating! Thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments! ♥

  15. Although I love corn on the cob and berries, I've never had a brat. Are they made of pork?
