Strangers in the Night

100 Words on Saturday - Write Tribe

Bang!  The car careened out of control.  She struggled to hold it steady steering towards the side of the road where it came to a stop.  Her hands clenched the steering wheel, both feet slammed on the brakes, her breathing rapid, and her eyes wide, Anna calmed enough to inspect the damage.   “Oh no!” she moaned, her eyes filling with tears.  A car pulled up behind hers and instantly she was afraid, alone and vulnerable in the night.  He was tall, dark, and drop-dead handsome.  Instead of killing her, he offered help, safety, and eventually an endless love for eternity.

This 100-word story is purely fictional and written in response to the  Write Tribe 100 Words on Saturday writing prompt.  A special thank you to Suzy Que for the idea for this weeks prompt!
