Happiest Moment in Life

Although I have had several things in my life that sent me over the moon, the challenge is to narrow it down to the one shining moment that stands above all the rest.  With that said, the happiest moment of my life was when I married my best friend, my husband.

If I hadn’t married my husband and best friend, other equally happy moments like the birth of our children or moving into our house would have never occurred.  At this point in my life, all good things followed from that one shining moment.  Love is an amazing thing and can make or break the happiness level in your life.  Until next time when I give you another glimpse into the life of a trucker’s wife.

  1. Ah, the wedding day! I said, "I do" and he said, "I do" and neither of us has since that day! Kidding, of course. It's probably the biggest change we ever make and I am including the birth of the kids, because marrying is for life and we all know those kids grow up and move away! Okay, we're still the 'rents, but it's so not the same. The 'other-half', however, is still there! :)

  4. Beachlover, I am too. I paid my dues with an abusive first husband. That experience really makes me appreciate my husband now so much more. It was love at first sight, and we basically are so alike and have so much in common that we are like two peas in a pod. We have our ups and downs like everybody else, but on the whole I am happy. Thank you for stopping in to read and leave such a kind comment!

  6. There is nothing better than having the love of someone who is always there whenever you need him; believes in you, takes care of you (heart, mind, body and soul), treats you with respect, shows you compassion, is descent and honest, is your rock, your biggest fan, and your best friend no matter what, puts you first, and loves you above all else. It sounds like you finally found that guy! Congratulations!
