  6    Tablespoons Melted Margarine
1/2   Gallon Vanilla Ice cream

2. Press mixture into bottom of a  9" X 11" baking dish.  Chill for 15 minutes.

3. Meanwhile, soften vanilla ice cream slightly.  Spread cherry pie filling over the prepared crust.

4. Top with softened ice cream.  Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs.  Freeze until ready to serve.

  9. Summer, I know what you mean!! This is one of those dishes I could grab a spoon and eat all by myself. I would regret it later, with the tummy ache and the 5 pounds added to each butt cheek, but it would be so worth it!!! LOL Thanks for stopping in to read and comment!

  15. Sam, thank you for stopping in!! So happy you like the "look" of my blog!! My grandma would have been pleased...she loved purple and had a huge wardrobe of everything purple imaginable. It is all me, even though I chose the color scheme to compliment my husband's purple semi truck. It has a whimsical, fun, girly feel to it. And that dessert...is to DIE for!! :D
